Squeeze Pages – 7 Tips To Maximize Squeeze Pages
So today we are going to talk about “squeeze page.” What exactly is a squeeze page? To make it as simple as possible a squeeze page is a web page that is specially designed to convince guests to opt-in to your website. If you plan your squeeze page well enough then chances are you would be able to convert as many as half of the people who visit it, into subscribers.
In order for squeeze page to work effectively there should be a way for the visitor to get into your web site without having to opt-in to your email list. So remember that a squeeze page should have an opt-in box that will of course lead the visitors to your auto-responder.
There are a lot of internet marketers nowadays who use copy writing techniques from offline direct response marketing. These online marketers make use of headlines, bullets, teasers, etc. If you are one of those insistent marketers then you would probably present visitors with multiple incentives in exchange for their contact information which is of course valuable to your online business.
The general rule is that squeeze pages are kept at a minimum. Again the goal of a squeeze page is to obtain the prospect’s email address. Avoid distracting your visitors additional information could distract the user or cause them to navigate away from your webpage.
If you will visit some web pages that include a squeeze page you will notice hyperlinks are almost always absent from typical squeeze pages. The reason why hyperlinks are absent is to make sure that visitors focus their attention on registering for your email list.
Internet marketers have discovered that convincing a visitor to sign up for an email list provides an opportunity to present that visitor with multiple sales messages over time, develop a relationship, and even cross-sell other related products.
So if email opt-ins is valuable then how would you drive traffic to your squeeze page?
Squeeze Page Tip#1: Make sure that you go to where your potential customers are
It is not going to be enough to get “any” traffic, it would be in your best interest if you get “targeted traffic”. Say for example one person is really interested with what your site has to offer can be worth 100 or more that have no clue about your niche, or no interest in it.
You must go where your target market is. Your target market can be found in many places like discussion forums, newsletters that are related with your niche material, article directories that are mainly focused on your niche.

Another way to bring in traffic to your squeeze page is my establishing an affiliate program. No single traffic tactic can reap the same rewards as a large affiliate program. Just be warned that setting up an affiliate program is not as easy as you might think, it requires careful care and feeding to nourish into a serious business asset. But once you get this rolling it is capable of outstripping all your other traffic sources.
Squeeze Page Tip #7: Think about JVs (Joint Ventures)
Shared list development and partnerships with other marketers who stand to benefit from promoting your products or services is one of the oldest tricks in all of internet marketing. It is the oldest and by far one of the most difficult to pull-off especially if you are just starting out. However that is not reason enough for you not to try it out.
