    I currently serve on the school board in our local community. the parent’s association has been trying to get our approval to tag a Facebook fan page unto the school’s website which by the way is very impressive. as a Board we are concerned of the control aspect of adverse comments that can be posted onto the Facebook wall and also we see Facebbok as more of a social net work. what are your views? How would you justify the fan page when the school’s admin already uses email as a primary way of communicating to the parents. I would like to make a fair decision but not being a Facebook user myself it is difficult for me to see the benefits to be derived.
