Blogging is the most widely used form of online marketing. According to blog tracking website Technorati, as of the moment there are 14 million blogs with 80,000 more being added each and every day. In short a lot of people out there are writing/composing blogs because they saw the advantages of blogging.

Blogging is not just for individuals and that is something we all know since that is a fact. Many online businesses have realized the advantages of blogging and they have utilized this tool to promote their products and business.

Blogging has emerged as one of the best marketing tool on the web. So today we are going to mention some of the best blogs out there for the year 2009. The following blogs are considered as the best not only for their content which is constantly updated but also for the amount of information they can provide online entrepreneurs.

So in no particular order here are some of the best blogs I have been reading this year, for me these are the top 10 blogs of 2009.

1. Eyecube

Eyecube also know as Insight, Innovation & Ideas or simply put I3. This is marketing blog is founded by Rick Liebling. Mr. Liebling has worked for a lot of prestigious and well known companies, some of these companies include MasterCard, Gillette, Yahoo!, etc.

Rick Liebling started his website to assist aspiring entrepreneurs. He believes that online entrepreneurs must at all times adhere to insight, innovation and idea to achieve success. His blog discusses these things and should be a great help to online entrepreneurs.

2. Convince and Convert

This website currently has 3107 followers. Convince and convert, this blog has been recognized by different organizations as one of the best marketing blogs. These organizations include AdAge, Junta24, Alltop, Social Media Today, Scribnia, etc. Expect new articles or posting from Convince and Convert every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

This blog was founded by Jay Baer. He is responsible for social media strategic planning of some companies. Not only is he involved with planning but he also provides consultation like blogs, content advice, ROI analysis etc.

3. Daily Blog Tips

This website currently has 37,744 readers! Now that is a lot right? Daniel Scocco, started this blog back in 2005. Mr. Scorro, pioneered an online marketing and business training program called Online Profits. This blog boasts of various different categories which an online marketer will find so easy to navigate. Daily Blog Tips has been recognized by a lot of organizations as one of the most visited blog.

The blog was nominated under the “Best Web Development Blog” category in the 2007 Weblog Awards, and currently it is ranked among the 500 most popular blogs in the world by no less than Technorati. Last but definitely not the least it is part of the 100 most popular marketing blogs in the world according to AdvertisingAge.

4. Web Ink Now

This site discusses topic from online marketing to strategies involving leadership. Web Ink Now is a blog that has been written by David Meerman Scott. He is the celebrated author of “The New Rules of Marketing and PR.” His work has been published in 24 languages.

This blog was established back in 2004. The articles on this blog range from the use of social media, online video, new releases, viral marketing, etc. It showcases a list of categories that readers can use with ease, not only that, it also provides free downloadable eBooks for marketing enthusiasts and entrepreneurs alike.

5. ClickNewz

ClickNewz is constantly updated (daily) with articles regarding internet marketing strategies, affiliate tips, search marketing tutorials, website traffic ideas and ways to build passive income. You shall also see things about product, service and website reviews that relate to internet marketing and online business.

Lynn Terry, is the brains behind ClickNewz. She has been engaged with internet marketing for almost 13 years now. Through this website she is able to share her knowledge to aspiring online marketers. She shared news on the latest eBiz trends and of course online marketing strategies that online entrepreneurs can use themselves.

6. Alex Mandossian’s Blog

This website currently has 152,046 followers. It only goes to show that this blog is a reliable source when it comes to online marketing. Alex Mandossian has devised a plan wherein an entrepreneur can transform their annual income into a weekly income once they apply his principle-centered electronic marketing strategies.

7. Michelle MacPhearson

As suggested by the URL itself the brains behind this informative blog is Michelle MacPhearson. Ms. MacPhearson, talks about how we can integrate Web 2.0 with our online marketing strategy.

Michelle MacPhearson is one of the co-hosts of Internet Marketing This Week podcast. Ms. MacPhearson constantly reminds her readers the basics of internet marketing.

If you will look at her website she is currently doing a series entitled “31 Day Internet Marketing Makeover” which is helping her readers reserve everything that they have and to organize and restructure everything with the aim of spring-boarding into 2010 with some real momentum.

8. Michel Fortin

This blog has been established by no less than Michel Fortin. Mr. Fortin is known as one of the best copywriters on the internet. His blog is constantly updated and is overflowing with valuable information for online entrepreneurs.

His blog provides hundreds of step-by-step tutorials and tools to show entrepreneurs how to go about finding profitable markets, get product ideas, procure the best products you can sell online, build profitable websites easily, etc.

9. Dosh Dosh

Although this blog is not updated daily, it is still rich in content. This website currently boasts of 35,980 readers. Dosh Dosh is a very fun blog to read because the author makes use of anime characters (it is fun if you are an anime fan).

This blog was founded by a student from Toronto, Canada. It provides information about internet marketing and blogging tips, alongside social media strategies.

10. ProBlogger

Problogger, is by far the largest when it comes to number of readers. It currently has 135k readers from around the globe! That is a lot! This prestigious blog was founded by Darren Rowse back in 2004.

This website is dedicated to bloggers and online entrepreneurs who are looking to expand their knowledge. This post: 7 Questions to Ask On Your Blog to Get More Reader Engagement is a video blog and it has been retweeted 467 times already, not to mention 185 people have commented on this post.

Since the internet is a vast place where people can share information, I am sure there are other great blogs I have not come across yet, feel free to give your suggestions.
